Rocket propulsion represents one of the most technically demanding and fastest growing fields in modern engineering, and the most critical frontier for advancing aerospace representation at The College of New Jersey. Project Lioncore is TCNJ's student-led initiative to research, design, fabricate, and test a 1,000 lbf regeneratively cooled liquid rocket engine, one of the most complex engineering systems a student team can attempt. This is not a simulation or a classroom exercise. Project Lioncore is real hardware, designed, built, and tested by TCNJ students on campus.
